π½ The Bizarre Toilet That Left Me Speechless
I never thought Iβd say this, but a toilet changed my life.
Not in the βinspirational TED Talkβ kind of way.
More in the βI just stared at this thing for five minutes trying to figure out if it was a prankβ kind of way.
βοΈ It All Started on a Tripβ¦
I was traveling through Japanβland of sushi, vending machines for everything, and yes, high-tech bathrooms. I had heard whispers of the infamous Japanese toilets, but nothing could prepare me for the moment I walked into a hotel restroom and met… The One.
It looked less like a toilet and more like the control panel of a spaceship. Buttons. Lights. Icons I didnβt understand. And a heated seat that caught me so off guard I thought I had accidentally sat on someoneβs lap.
𧻠A Toilet With a Remote Control?!
Some were labeled in English (βBidet,β βSpray,β βStopβ), while others had icons that could either mean βgentle rinseβ or βlaunch sequence initiated.β I pressed one button and the toilet made a soft whirring noise. Then a nozzle slowly extended, aiming like it had a mission.
Then laughed. Then pressed another buttonβout of curiosity (and poor judgment). Thatβs when a gentle, alarming, and frankly impressive stream of water shot upward with surprising precision.
πΈ Features I Never Asked For, But Now Demand
After the shock wore off, I started exploring the rest of the functions. Among the features:
- Heated seat β like a warm hug for your backside.
